YOUR DECKING COMPANY HERE
This site aims to be a helpful UK fencing, decking and gate information resource.
Tip: Painting or staining fences If your fence is made from tanalised timber (pressure treated softwood), allow approximately 1 year for it to dry out before applying any paint or stain to it. When any coating is applied prematurely, the wood will twist and distort because it cannot breathe in the normal way. Colouring the fence should be purely for cosmetic reasons as this is not necessary under normal conditions with today's treatment process.
