Fencing Tip : The fastest way of removing a concreted in fence post. Decide on the side which is either most workable or contains the least concrete. Dig out past the concrete's edge and excavate the soil down until just below the bottom of the post. With no restictions on the excavated edge, break out just the top 4'' of concrete from the remaining 3 sides of the post. On the opposite edge to the fully excavated side, attempt 2 or 3 fractures in different positions with your concrete breaker. The post may start to move. If required, insert a heavy duty metal peeler, bar or pole with sharpened point. Take care while forcing this between the post and concrete edge by knocking with a medium to heavy weight sledge hammer. A high impact force may be required.
